Lake Garda Romance

Lake Garda Romance

A dream island wedding on the shores of Lake Garda.

Celebrations started the previous night, when we organized an intimate dinner party at The Luxury Hotel for the Bride’s close friends and family.

The following day we arranged for the guests to be picked up from their hotels and accompanied to the local port, where a boat was waiting to take them to The Private Island. On arrival at the island dock they were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and canapés.  While guests were waiting on the villa’s terrace, the bride made her fabulous entrance on a beautiful vintage boat.

An outdoor Symbolic Wedding ceremony under the arches of the loggia overlooking the Lake Garda. Followed by a cocktail reception in the spectacular Italian gardens, where guests admired the sun set over the lake while sipping Prosecco and tasting the local delicacies. A romantic and elegant atmosphere emphasized by the sound of a jazz band, the beautiful backdrop of the manicured gardens, soft candle light and scattered petals.

Guests were then escorted back to the loggia, which had been elegantly dressed for dinner. Soft blush and ivory color palette, green amaranth hanging from the arches, opulent flower arrangement in antique stone vases placed on pillars, lush candelabra flower centerpieces, speckled tea light holders, rose petals, silver framed table numbers. A fabulous three-course meal followed by a lemon infused polenta naked wedding cake. Then the customary cake cut and more Prosecco!

Through a candlelit garden path, guests made their way down to the dock, where a fairy lit marquee had been dressed for a quiet the dance party. Comfortable sofas and a delicious dessert table were ready to greet the guests. Bride and groom took their first dance to the sound of a solo jazz trumpet playing the notes of La Vie en Rose.

Just before midnight, the bride and groom made their way to the dock, where guests waved the newlyweds goodbye as the couple left on a classic boat.
