A romantic wedding on the hills overlooking Florence

When guests arrived at this stunning hilltop villa on a sunny summer afternoon, everything was ready to welcome them to a typical Florence Wedding. Fresh lemonade, colourful fans and the chilled atmosphere that is typical of this corner of Italy.

The Symbolic Wedding ceremony took place on a garden terrace, where bride and groom exchanged their vows with the breath-taking views of Florence as a backdrop.

After the ceremony, guests joined a typical Italian aperitivo on the panoramic terraceof the villa. Here they could admire the sun setting over Florence while sipping a glass of Prosecco and tasting some local delicacies.

The upper terrace had been carefully dressed for a romantic dinner under the stars. We envisioned a chic Tuscan garden theme for this relaxed and yet effortlessly elegant outdoor wedding dinner. So, to create the perfect Florence wedding atmosphere, we created the perfect set up.

Rustic tables and chairs, dove grey runners, hundreds of rose gold tea lights and tall candle-sticks, lush garlands of silvery eucalyptus leaves, pink peonies, hydrangeas and spray roses. And to complete the set up, a sky of twinkling fairy lights hanging from the old tree.

After dinner, a surprise awaited everyone under the secular oak tree of the lemon house terrace. A wedding cake show cooking in front of the guests.

The dance party took place in the beautiful lemon house that opened onto the limonaia terrace, where a comfy lounge area complete with a yummy ice cream cart awaited them.

The bride and groom welcomed their guests on the dance floor with an amazing first dance. A sexy tango, coreographed to perfection that left everyone (including us!) speechless.

It was a magical day and a real Florence Wedding through and through!
