A glamorous end of summer wedding in the exclusive Italian Riviera

This elegant wedding took place over a two-day weekend of celebrations on the magnificent Gulf of Portofino. On the Saturday morning, we organized an intimate Italian Civil Wedding ceremony at the local Town Hall among close family and friends, followed by a fun beach party. In the evening, the couple hosted a relaxed cocktail reception on a private terrace overlooking the sea to welcome their guests.

The big day started on the Sunday afternoon with a fabulous Catholic Wedding. The bride arrived at the beautiful hilltop church overlooking the sea in an elegant classic car. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the panoramic terrace of an elegant Italian Villa. Here guests joined an all Italian cocktail reception while the sun set over the water.

The newlyweds then welcomed their guests to an elegant outdoor dinner under the garden porch. A bright pink, green and ivory color palette in keep with the venue, lush seasonal flowers, mirrors and tea lights. Because of the couple’s love for the sea, we created a subtle seaside theme. Precious Amalfi paper for the wedding stationery, real shells as place holders and blue bottles with scrolls for the seating plan.

After the cake cut, guests joined a buzzing dance party in the main hall of the villa. We set up a cocktail bar and a yummy dessert table in the garden where guests could unwind while sipping a drink. Finally, we dedicated one of the halls of the villa to a delicious sugared almond tasting experience. An unmissable Italian wedding tradition.

Everyone let loose on the dance floor and the celebrations continued until the early hours of the morning.
